ISO 7 Cleanroom
Modular ISO 7 cleanrooms provide a clean, safe, enclosed room for your project requirements. ISO 7 cleanrooms are recommended for applications that require a moderate amount of particle concentration limits.
At Clean Air Products, we manufacture ISO 7 cleanrooms that comply with ISO 14644-1 specifications, including a room’s maximum allowable particle count and air changes per hour. Our ISO 7 cleanroom systems are available in both hardwall and softwall options, with modifications available upon request.

While every cleanroom provides filtering and reduces contaminants, there are different levels of particle count classifications. ISO cleanroom cleanliness standards are based on a room’s particle levels within a given area, measured according to the quantity and size of particles per air volume. The ISO cleanroom classification table below demonstrates the differences between ISO classes and the number of allowable particles per particle size.
ISO 7 Cleanroom Standards & Quality Requirements
Cleanrooms are classified according to the number and size of particles permitted per volume of air in a specific amount of time. An ISO 7 or Fed-Std 209E class 10,000 cleanroom must have 352,000 particles per cubic meter or less ≥0.5 µm sized particles, 83,200 particles per cubic meter or less ≥1 µm sized particles, and 2,930 particles per cubic meter or less ≥5 µm sized particles. An ISO 7 class cleanroom must also maintain 60-150 air changes per hour with a ceiling coverage of 15-25%.Modular ISO 7 Cleanroom Hardwall & Softwall Options
Clean Air Products manufactures ISO 7 cleanrooms in hardwall and softwall options. Fed-Std 209E class 10,000 cleanrooms feature hard wall construction mounted between anodized aluminum posts to create a fully enclosed, semi-permanent area. In contrast, our modular softwall ISO 7 cleanrooms are designed for portability and reduced cost while delivering all the benefits of the ISO 7 specifications.ISO Class 7 Clean Room Applications
At Clean Air Products, we will design cleanrooms that address your production’s standards of cleanliness. Our ISO 7 modular cleanrooms provide the lowest allowable particle quantities per particle size. Common industrial applications for ISO Class 7 cleanrooms include:- Automotive
- Biology & Pharmaceutical
- Biotechnology
- Food Manufacturing
Additional ISO Cleanroom Classification Options
If ISO 7 is not the cleanroom standard you require, Clean Air Products also manufactures all other classifications of ISO cleanrooms. The other types of ISO 14644-1 available include:- ISO Class 1 - 4
- ISO Class 5
- ISO Class 6
- ISO Class 8
